Arcadia is going to be the home of the San Gabriel Valley’s first food hall concept.
Food halls are red hot in Orange County and they have been spreading across the country as the next big food craze.
What’s a food hall? Simply put its usually a food court concept with vendors who have unique and interesting dishes usually with a limited menu.
Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia is building the first food hall in the area. It will be next to the new Din Tai Fung restaurant on the mall’s second floor.
Vendors will include Sticky Rice (from Grand Central Market) EMC Seafood, and Backhouse Restaurant.
As of now the build out has just started. Its supposed to open this Summer.
