Fullerton is not one of the cities you think of when people talk about Orange County's exploding food scene. One hotel (yes hotel) Chef is trying to change that.
At The Hotel Fullerton Chef Zachary Geerson (formally from Tempo Urban Kitchen ) is changing how people see hotel food in the OC. From elk/bison burgers, to a ramen with housemade noodles its a big shift from the usual bacon and eggs you may find at a hotel.
Personally I think you have to try the ramen. The broth is made from scratch and Geerson came up with the dish while he was a instructor at the CIA (The Culinary Institute of America) its complex and unlike ramen you will find in SoCal.
Geerson is still working out his position and is going to be opening a new restaurant in the hotel soon so expect to hear more things coming from the Hotel Fullerton in the future.
