The Slaw Dogs at Topanga Village Open Friday.

The Slaw Dogs  has been around the SGV for a while. Its first location near downtown Pasadena was a hot spot for a while. They expanded to a diner in Duarte recently and had a location running in Woodland Hills.

Slaw Dogs owner Ray Byrne is ready to evolve his concept once again.

The newest Slaw Dogs opens Friday. There will be a lot going on.

The Slaw Dogs at Topanga Village is a small glass building set in a courtyard at this outdoor mall. All the seating is outside but you can still drink (and SD has an extensive alcohol list.)

The menus from other Slaw Dogs locations are much larger but Ray feels that the menu here is more polished and has some Topanga Village exclusive dishes.

The famous  C-4 sausage burrito is here and its something everyone who loves meat and heat should try once. Featuring ghost chile sausages it is not for the easily intimidated.

One of Slaw Dog's new dishes the curry chicken "poutine" is pretty interesting. Its fried topped with a chicken curry gravy, fried cheese curds, and pickled onions. Would love to hear what you have to say about this one (unless its to say its not real poutine because I have heard that way too much.)
