Sloan's Ice Cream is a Fun Break From LA's Serious Ice Cream Scene

Florida's best ice cream has arrived in the City of Angels. Sloan's is a legend in Florida. With several stores dotting the Sunshine State Sloan has been working on California with a shop in San Diego and now a shop in Woodland Hills at the new  Westfield Topanga.  Sloan's is different from other LA gourmet ice cream shops because they take themselves less seriously.  All stores have a prank bathroom (something you need to check out we wont ruin the surprise.) There's bright loud colors and stuffed animals everywhere. What matters though is the ice cream. Its made in small batches from scratch with a 16 percent butterfat. For their carrot cake flavor they bake carrot cakes from their own recipe and break them down into the ice cream. If you enjoy carrot cake you should love this flavor. Sloan's offers a lot of wacky ice cream options including a "kitchen sink" sundae...in an actual sink. No one has gotten this yet as the store is new (if you get this massive sundae send us a pic.) Oh and if you use that bathroom...remember to lock the door.
