Bagatelle Introduces its Black Truffle Rich Winter Menu

Bagatelle is a underrated French restaurant on Weho's  restaurant heavy La Cienega Blvd. Recently they tweaked their menu for winter. Luckily for foodies the black truffle season starts a little before December and even luckier the winter menu at  Bagatelle is truffle heavy. Dishes like the black truffle gnocchi make beautiful use of truffle. The gnocchi is pillowy soft and covered in a truffle cheese sauce. Its not a dish to eat on a diet. Other great dishes on the winter menu would include the pan seared scallops, perfectly cooked with a roasted parsnip puree (gf was not a fan of the parsnips.)  Overall except for spots of the roasted truffle chicken being overdone Bagatelle proves the old adage about a tight small menu being a good menu.
