Seasons 52 is an upscale small chain with a healthy menu focus. Nothing on their menu is supposed to be more than 475 calories (honestly not too sure about this but its not an issue for me). What I do like is their commitment using fresh seasonal product for their restaurants. With the new Fall menu Seasons doesn't get too crazy. The most complicated dish is the triple mushroom and goat cheese flatbread. Sprinkle a little salt on it and its a great umami rich appetizer. Besides the flatbread Seasons sticks to a protein/starch combo with most of its dishes and does them well. The scallops are the grilled scallops usually served at Seasons but for Fall they are served with a butternut squash risotto. The scallops are consistently tender and fresh every time I go to Seasons and its a go to dish for me. However the new balsamic brushed quail stuffed with truffle risotto was the highlight of the night. Almost entirely deboned and stuffed with risotto its a classy take on a stuffed turkey except you actually can eat it without gravy.
