Tart Restaurant Summer Menu Preview

Tart Restaurant is a fun bohemian vibe restaurant right across from LA's Farmers Market and The Grove. With a distinct American menu Tart has fun with its food with dishes like fried chicken and waffles, and giant alcoholic punch bowls. For their soon to be available summer menu Chef Nick Erven is using a theme of fresh local produce much of which he picks himself at local farmers markets. Theres a tomato salad and a pea tendril, peach, and cheese salad. But its the heavier dishes like the pork belly with black eyed peas and the scotch egg that really shine (the scotch egg has a kick to it from horseradish.) The must try dish from the new menu would be the strawberry rhubarb panna cotta. Its one of the best in LA. The strawberry and rhubarb play so well together. Its like LA summer in one creamy dessert. The new menu launches June 9th.
